Rev. C. W. Minor

From October 1, 1892 to September 2, 1893

Rev. C. W. Minor of Americus, Georgia answered the call to accept the pastorate of the Dublin Baptist Church on September 18, 1892. He stated that he could not serve time as requested, but would do so for three Sundays at a salary of $35.00 per month.

He asked the prayers and cooperation of the members in his work, stating that he could not do much pastoral work until the middle of May when he would be through school at Mercer University.

Rev. Minor was asked to serve as pastor full time, but he declined and preached his last sermon on August 20, 1893 before resigning.

Rev. Minor was pastor of the Americus First Baptist Church from 1918 to 1925, member of the Mission Board from 1909 to 1910, Trustee of Mercer University from 1905 to 1910, Associate President of Cox College from 1917 to 1918, and member of the Executive Committee from 1919 to 1926.
