Dr. Forest C. Feezor



Interim Pastor of First Baptist Church 1970 

Dr. Forest C. Feezor was born in Lexington, North Carolina. He received his A.B. Degree from Wake Forest College, Wake Forest North Carolina in 1920.  He studied at the University of Chicago. He received his Doctor of Divinity Degree from Wake Forest College in 1934.

His former pastorates and positions include:
Professor and Director of the Bible Department, William Jewel College, Liberty, Missouri, 1923-1926;
Pastor of Second Baptist Church, Liberty Missouri, 1926-1932;
Pastor Tabernacle Baptist Church Raleigh, N.C., 1932-1943;
Pastor Broadway Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, Texas, 1943-1947;
Pastor, First Baptist Church, Waco, Texas, 1947-1953;
Executive Secretary, Baptist General Convention of Texas, 1953-1960.

Dr. Feezor served as Interim Pastor from 1961-1969 in the following places: Taiwan; North Carolina; Wisconsin; and Texas.
